Each water and ride attraction has its own specific rules and guidelines. Please ensure you check them below before visiting Gumbuya World Theme Park.
Health and Safety
Please don't ride if you have any of the following conditions:
- Heart Condition
- High Blood Pressure
- Pregnancy
- Neck or Back Injury
- Recent Surgery or Illness
- Drugs and Alcohol impaired
Weather
Unfortunately some rides can't operate in extreme weather conditions. For the safety of our guests, we may have to close rides in adverse weather conditions.

Min 2. & Max 4. people per raft. Riders must weigh a min. 100kg combined and max. 250kg combined. Max. individual weight 136kg.
Taipan
Min 2. & Max 4. people per raft. Riders must weigh a min. 100kg combined and max. 250kg combined. Max. individual weight 136kg.
Tiger Snake Tango
Min. Height 120cm.
Riders under 10 years must be actively supervised by guardian**
Red Belly Racer
Min. 110cm.
Riders between 110cm and 120cm must be accompanied by an adult.
Typhoon Island
Min. 100cm. Max. 90kg weight applies on slides.
Children under 10 years must be actively supervised by an adult and children under 5 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Surf’s Up
(Stand Up)
Min. 122cm. All guests must make a booking.
Extra charges apply.
Surf’s Up

Min. 105cm. All guests must make a booking.

The Break
For safety, children under 10 years and non-swimmers must be within arms reach of an actively supervising adult at all times.
Warm Rock Pools
For safety, children under 5 years and non-swimmers must be within arms reach of an actively supervising adult at all times. Children 6 to under 10 years must be actively supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
Lazy River
For safety, children under 10 years old andnon-swimmers must be within arm’s reach of an actively supervising adult at all times.

Riders must be at least 14yrs or above.
Tree Swing
Min. 120cm. Riders between 120cm and 140cm must be accompanied by someone 140cm+.
Rush Hour
Min. 110cm. Riders between 110cm and 130cm must be accompanied by someone 140cm+. Shoes required.
Mining Race
Coaster
Min. 100cm. Riders between 100cm and 110cm must be accompanied by someone 120cm+. Shoes required.

Riders under 100cm must be accompanied by someone 130cm+. Shoes required.
