All roles are offered on a casual basis, given the seasonality and trading days of our business (but don’t worry, there is work a-plenty! It’s our peak season, after all…). Ongoing work will be offered to those who excel over the summer.

What qualifications do you need?
Working in a theme park is heaps of fun, but we do take it seriously when it comes to the safety of our guests. To ensure their well-being and satisfaction, we require staff of different areas to have certain certificates and qualifications.
Please note that whilst the above certifications are mandatory, some of these CAN be provided by Gumbuya World, to the right applicants. Don’t have a Pool Lifeguard Certificate but want to work in our water park? Apply still, and we can go from there. We would never let go of a superstar that we see potential in due to a limit of their initial certifications.
